Hello everyone,
In the living cell that I am building for my Daily, I installed a 6-liter Pundmann boiler with dual operation. Hot air from heater and 12V 200W electrical resistance.
When carrying out the test I immediately noticed that by sending electrical voltage to the resistance, the absorption of electrical energy is not continuous; but alternates moments of zero absorption and others of absorption at about 200w. Is this normal operation? I checked the electrical system, voltage always reaches the resistance.

Hello Mauro, the electric heating element will cycle on and off operation indirectly based on temperature, approximately around 70°C.

I would like to inquire about a crucial aspect: Have you ensured that the entire water system is filled, and can you confirm that the boiler is indeed filled with water?
The electric heating element is equipped with an over-temperature protection feature that could rapidly heat up in the absence of water. Could you please provide more details about the alternating operation? Specifically, what is the duration of the electric heating element's on and off cycles, measured in seconds?

Cheers, Rico

Hi Rico, thanks for the help!
The on/off cycles are about 35/40 seconds for both.
Before testing the boiler, I ran a lot of water to check the pipes. I don't think there are any special procedures to let the air out of the heater..
